THE GOOSE COOLS HIS BRAIN PAN AT BOOTLEGGERS
Where does a graduate computer science student go to relax after helping his team place 3rd locally (5th overall out of 135 teams) in a programming competition.
Someplace quiet. Someplace cerebral. Someplace conducive to deep contemplation.
Well, no. But let the Goose tell us his way:

Well, no. But let the Goose tell us his way:
After the competition yesterday, I just wanted to lay on the couch and play video games - which is exactly what I did. I also took a couple of naps.
The competition went well. We did better than last year. This year we came in 3rd at the local competition and 5th out of the 135 regional teams. We were pretty happy with that. Afterwards, our coach, Dr. Harrington, took us to Greek town for dinner. We got the big family dinners and shared with each other. At the end of dinner, everybody piled the leftovers into a box and gave it to me. I got to eat quite well today.
I went out Thursday for Halloween with a couple of friends. We hit a couple of bars and ended up at our current favorite - Bootleggers. This bar is themed like a tropical island and plays 80's glam rock non-stop. We really like it. We stayed there until closing at 4am.
The rest of the week was pretty normal, classes and homework.
